We are located in the central massif of Ourense, on the stage of the Mozárabe path between A gudiña- Laza, very close to the “Parque Natural do Invernadeiro”.
In a village of 5 inhabitants, 6 km from the nearest town, Laza, where you can enjoy a walk and a bath in a crystalline river, and if you visit us in February you can enjoy the Carnival of Laza.
Around us the mountains, the oak, chestnut and pine forests, where all kinds of wild animals: owl, deer, fox, wolf, wild boar … live, bears have even been seen living in the nearby mountains or Invernadoiro.
It constitutes a protected area with the qualification of Place of Community Importance (LIC) member of Red Natura 2000 and is in the process of qualification as a natural park.
Within the mountain we can find spaces protected under other protection figures such as the Natural Park of El Invernadeiro, Souto de Rozabales (natural monument) qwhich houses a magnificent example of a chestnut grove forest,or the plugin linkedin Návea River Valley which is a protected lacndscape.
The area has, on the north slope of its highest peak, Cabeza de Manzaneda, the only ski resort in Galicia (Manzaneda (ski station)).
